Fraudsters may attempt to steal your personal information, such as your name, address and financial details, to impersonate you and apply for motor finance in your name.

Payment Interception

Criminals may intercept communication between you and your financial institution, diverting payments to their accounts instead of the intended recipient.

Fraudsters may send deceptive emails or texts posing as legitimate financial institutions, requesting sensitive information such as account details or login credentials. Examples of such communications may be:

Double-Check Documentation:

When purchasing a vehicle, carefully review all documentation, including the VIN, vehicle registration and finance agreements, to ensure they are legitimate and match the vehicle's details.
